AML Global has been delivering training at the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (ROI) Summer School this week, in Sarajevo, Bosnia. The topic of the 2019 summer school was “Investigation of Corruption Cases Innovative Mechanisms and Tools.”
The RAI, in partnership with the OSCE, organised the 14th edition of the Summer School for Junior Anti-Corruption Practitioners from South East European countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia. AML Global was delighted to be invited to deliver training to delegates from across the region.
The RAI participants of the Summer School 2019 for Anti Corruption Practitioners were pleased to receive training from Lawrie Day and Warren Barlow of AML Consulting (Global) Ltd who delivered an interactive exercise on the AML Globals immersive platform, View360 Global™. The feedback from summer school was exceptional and we were very happy to support continued learning.
The bespoke exercise focused on a regional based corruption case study that featured aspects of terrorist financing and followed inputs on the topics of the relationship between corruption and terrorism the previous day by the two subject matter experts.
The View360 Global™ immersive platform allowed all participants from the 11 jurisdictions to participate using their native language, which was then translated to the facilitator’s native language, which in this case was English.
This innovative method of interactive training has been used by AML Consulting (Global) Ltd in 11 countries and was most recently used in June 2019 in Skopje when AML Consulting (Global) delivered a 3 day workshop on international cooperation, mutual legal assistance and asset recovery for the Regional Anti Corruption Initiative under the auspices of another regional asset recovery project.
